On Wednesday April 1, 2020 Governor Ron DeSantis issued a state-wide stay at home order. Since then many things have changed in the attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19. At the Animal Clinic of Leesburg we are doing our part by increased sanitizing of our lobby and rooms, installing sneeze guards on our reception counter along with hand sanitizers in rooms and lobby. There are floor markers for social distancing to keep you and our staff safe.
We are now able to schedule our regular appointments and surgeries not just emergencies. Clients can come into the clinic to sign in, and wait in the lobby providing the seat is available for social distancing. Anyone coming into the clinic is asked to wear a mask. And any clients that would like to remain in their car, and have our technicians come out to bring their pet in for the doctor to examine are still able to do so. If you would like to remain in your car just call our receptionist at 352-326-8940 to let them know you are here for your appointment. Only those who DO NOT want to come into the clinic to speak with the doctor should call, all others must sign in no matter what they are here for. Please leave the number of the phone you have with you that day so we can call you when we are ready for you to come in.
If you are an existing client and your pet has an injury or illness, we will do our best to work you in to our schedule that day. You must call us first and be aware that there could be a up to a two hour wait for a doctor to see you.
New clients please bring your pets records with you in order for us to complete your file. If we have to wait for records your appointment may be delayed. Any patients that do not have a valid Rabies vaccination certificate will be required to update it at the time of their appointment that day.
Please do not call to get your prescriptions ready ahead of time. If you need a refill just come into the clinic to pick it up. We have an online pharmacy on this website to have it delivered to your home.
We hope everyone will be safe and abide by the law for the sake of our families and the pets who own us. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this time of crisis.
